Medicine for your inner feelings

There are many ways for a person to claim their inner peace. Some might listen to relaxing music, taking a long shower etc. For me as a muslim, we have five disciplines that when we really hang on to it, we can have total control to our thinking and actions which leads to total inner peace.
  1. Read quran and learn it's meaning.
  2. Solat (solah) in the 3rd quarter of each night. There are many that we can do; Istikharah, Tasbih, Taubah etc.
  3. Practice fasting. It helps to reduce your tendency towards immoral behaviour.
  4. Mix with good mukminin. Those who not led astray by their surroundings.
  5. Zikrullah as many as you can when you get a chance. While driving, reading, classes etc.
